What is the best way to sell complete sets of Topps baseball cards, from 1953 - 1972? Seeking opinions of people who have experience with this - do I sell on net54, eBay or other?? Thanks in advance! Richard (brightair at msn dot com)

Take this for what it's worth, but I would definitely start here at net54. If you provide as much pertinent info as possible, drown your thread in pictures, and start opening conversations with interested parties, I think you'll be happy with the result. Plus, you'll avoid all of the fees. Too many things can go wrong on eBay with expensive sets. Among the possibilities are a buyer returning it after they switched out your cards for poorer ones, or threatening to return the set (or leave negative feedback) if you don't issue a partial refund, etc.

I would say start here too. But it seems there's a sellers/buyers group, and it's hard to move stuff if not in that group. I've tried and tried to both buy and sell/trade and hardly ever wind up making deals.
I put it on Facebook or other places, and it moves almost immediately. Of course you're going to get some John Snob here, there and everywhere else, that's going to PM you asking what's the lowest you'll take for everything. But don't deal with him. He's just trying to get something for nothing. But I'd list out stuff here, take good pictures and come up with comparable prices (usually based off ebay's sales). That'll be a start, even though that doesn't mean they'll sell (or sell quickly). Just be patient and get what you want for them. It's possible, but it's tough.
