Default Nashville card show

I went to the Music City Show in Nashville and was fairly disappointed.

They had a solid lineup of autograph guests, but only less than 70 tables. Precious little vintage and, if course, it was over priced.

It's tough to find any decent shows in the South. I miss Chicago.

Amazing how yankees/midwesterners invade the south and then complain...

How is this complaining? I went to the show too. Is it not worth letting others know it is not worth their time and expenses to attend if they are looking for anything more than autographs from the guests?

Nice first post though. I hope you enjoy Net54.

They are moving to a larger hall next year. I will probably set up and give it a shot. Yes I do have vintage.

Default Show

I went to the show yesterday. There was one guy who had hundreds of T206s but the one I asked a price on (common with polar bear back) was $100 which I thought was high. I ended up not getting any T206s, but instead got a few hits to my '65, '60, and '67 Topps sets at another dealer who had a bunch of value boxes to go through.

I thought there were a lot of tables compared to the Antioch shows I go to every now and then. Agree that much was priced high...especially the modern stuff. I only bought a few low dollar Topps RCs, but there were plenty of high priced parallels, etc. if that was what someone was looking for.

Unfortunately I didn't come away with anything noteworthy since my card budget was cut way back. Still it was a fun 3 hours to forget the BS of the real world.

One of our fellow Hobby Hotline hosts attended that show and said it was about 200 tables. Not sure as to the big difference in table counting

He comes into the show at about the 52 minute mark:

I'm counting dealers. Most had two or even eight tables. There were at least a dozen empty tables.

Obviously there is a big difference between number of dealers and number of tables

Couldn’t make the show because of a family wedding, but look forward to seeing it grow. Heard mixed reviews from the people I know who attended, but almost all the complaints were based around prices.
