1971 Topps Baseball Starter Set- 411 Diff Including 66 High Numbers
This is my second starter set comprised of all of the cards I've purchased in forming my 1971 set. This is where I started, my current group is much, much better. I won't mention the money I've spent, however...
Condition-wise I'm going to call it Very Good overall to be on the conservative side. There are cards in better condition among these, but there are some with some wear, fillers, and centering was left at the printing press. On the other hand, there are 66 high numbers with 31 of those as SP cards.
These are lower-grade, but not trash. With what's here someone with the inventory could upgrade it slightly or complete it as-is and make some money.
This is what is included in the group:
Blyleven; Hunter; 1st Checklist; N.L. Batting; A.L. RBI; N.L. RBI; A.L. HR; N.L. HR; N.L. ERA; A.L. Pitching; N.L. Pitching; N.L. Strikeout; Tiant; G.Perry; Coin Checklist; Hodges; Grich; A.L. Playoff #3; N.L. Playoff #'s 1, 2, 3; 3rd Checklist; Carew; Bench (filler); Morgan; Oliva; World Series #'s 2 and 3; Torre; Wills; Luzinski; McCarver; E. Weaver; 5th Checklist; Buckner; W. Davis (The checklists are unmarked, but the #1 and the coin checklists are miscut.)
High number SP Cards: Stewart; Pizarro; Floyd; Lyle (filler); Braves Team; Shaw; Epstein; Nyman; Lindblad; Browne; Hedlund; I. Brown; Voss; Crosby: Janeski (filler); O'Reilly; Burbach; Taylor; Anderson (filler); Powell (filler); Astros Team; Romo; Gentry; Qualls; Maye; Gardner; O'Donoghue (filler); Manuel; Alomar; and McClain (light crease)
I am asking $350 which will include shipping and insurance. This is separate from the other lots I have up as those do not belong to me, I am posting them on behalf of my friend. I am willing to answer any question regarding the lot, but I will tell all in advance that asking me to accept less will be politely declined.
