Does anyone have a breakdown of the T206 SL players by League?
T206 South Atlantic League players list or link T206 Southern League players list or link T206 Texas League players list or link T206 Virginia League players list or link I have a list of the seven Southern League (Alabama) players (excluding Roy Ellam) since those players are who I collect Interested in the others and asking before I try to recreate the wheel on those Any help is appreciated Thanks

There is an old book from the early 1980s that you'd find occasionally useful, The Sports Collector's Bible, by Bert Sugar. I think there are 4 editions. The first one is green, and has several mistakes. Ditto for the second. The 3rd and 4th editions are pretty good. You can find them on ABEbooks and eBay, and I'm sure elsewhere. It's a book that you'll thumb through a time or two then put on a shelf or in a box... time will pass, and then you'll be puzzling about something and you'll probably find some information or direction after looking at this book.
Bert, as did collectors of the day and in the old days, group the T206s by team and league. That's not how I initially grouped them, but that's what I do now. |

I'm mostly a post-war collector but I am collecting the T206 Virginia League players, 12 cards in total with two cards from each of six cities.
When you look at them as a group, a couple of things stick out:
