Let’s see your... DEBUT ticket stubs!
Hi all,
My last post got me thinking and I wanted to start a thread where all are welcome to post their ticket stubs that feature a players debut or first appearance in the Major Leagues! It’s always neat to see something that takes it all the way back to a career of a player like Ruth, Griffey or Koufax or those who are lesser known. It’s interesting because more often than not fans don’t think to keep a stub of a guy making his debut but once they morph into a star, then everyone wishes they had, (I. E. Mickey Mantle.) Being a history student it’s always neat to not only see the history but to hear the story behind it! So any player from any era is welcome! Step up to the batter’s box and share your debut tickets!
