1950 Bowman Robinson REDUCED

Up for sale is this 1950 Bowman Jackie Robinson, graded PSA Auth Altered. This just came back from PSA. I thought it would get a 1, but they must have considered that top left corner to be an alteration rather than just damage. Card has a great image though!

Hmm, interesting. I guess since it looks like it was intentionally cut? If that's the case, couldn't someone theoretically rough up that corner and resubmit to get a 1? (not saying anyone should, necessarily)

Ha! I hadn't thought of that, but it definitely goes to show you that sometimes these grading decisions are really just a judgment call about someone's "intent," which can be awfully hard to determine just by looking at a piece of cardboard in front of you.
