FS: 1906 Boston Americans program/scorecard, scored for April 17th, Opening Day vs the New York Highlanders at Huntington Grounds! Beautiful 10-page scorecard featuring Jimmy Collins on the cover, along with "Nuf Ced" McGreevy. A 1906 Boston scorecard is a rarity in any case, and one from Opening Day vs the Highlanders is pretty special.
On this day it was New York over Boston, 4-3, with Al Orth getting the win over George Winter. Bill Hogg (died in 1909 from Bright's Disease) started the game for the Highlanders.
The condition of this scorecard is better than most from this era. All pages are intact. Spine is good with only a closed 1.5" split above the top staple. There is a light vertical fold throughout, and a 7/8" tear throughout at the outer lower edge of pages (can be seen in photos). The back cover is glue-stained and has spots of paper loss from scrapbook removal.
Size is about 6" x 9" closed.
