During the Victorian era, a lot of gentlemen callers, or just people visiting, would leave their calling card if the person they were visiting was not home. This was a kin to leaving a message. What we have here is a 1880s calling card with a baseball theme scene in the background. I have not seen too many of these, and this is a beautiful condition.
