As a mostly prewar guy occasionally dabbling in modern era superstars, I wonder about perceived value of PSA 10 v. BGS 9.5. While PSA clearly rules to roost of prewar (for good and for bad), Beckett is obviously huge in modern cards. If you were buying an expensive modern day iconic card and hoping for appreciation over time, would you think there's much of a difference between PSA and BGS 9.5 at the end of the day? I realize Beckett gives subgrades which can alter the equation. Just wondering what folks reactions are generally? Here's a case in point.
