Joe Jackson 1911 Baseball Magazine help needed please......
I had a "find" recently at a local estate auction. It is an August 1911 Baseball Magazine. Very thick with incredible photos, articles and ads.
My question is this...can anyone help me identify the players on the cover? My gut instinct and hunch is that the player on the left is Nap Lajoie (confirmed by 2 Net54 folks). Cy Young in the front middle (confirmed by 2 Net54 folks) and I'm praying that one of the other guys is Shoeless Joe but of course I'm dreaming right? (we have 1 opinion that he may be in the back middle looking sideways.) We have another opinion that Ted Easterly may be the guy in the rear right corner.
