Paying with Escrow on Ebay - Need help

eBay used to have an escrow service, mostly used through eBay motors for vehicle purchases. As far as I know, now you will need to go through a 3rd party service for escrow.

However, eBay's purchase protection for buyers should cover you if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Also, pay with your credit card for further protection.

eBay's purchase protection doesn't cover escrow, the item is larger than the paypal protection limit, and larger than my credit limit, so I'm kind of forced into escrow. The only thing is that the escrow account is completely outside of ebay so I'm not sure how it will close the transaction.
