early and colorful advertising card issued by LIEBIG showing a Red Sox batter in a Ted Williams-esque batting pose...except Williams batted left.

Its a cool, oddball Williams card. I've owned many, and have submitted most that are graded by PSA, including the PSA 7 below. The set is called Liebig 1520 "Lo Sport nel Mondo". I've sold most of the ones I had for $25-$50. FYI - if you do decide to submit to PSA, the card qualifies as an oversized issue and needs to be submitted only with oversized/postcard sized cards.

He is in the illustration, too. Lots of interesting creative choices there. Is he batting left from righty box, or is the pitcher throwing from the backstop? Hmmm

never seen it before
Very Cool I am looking around more and more and seeing international cards of many famous and not so famous players. Might have to add some at some point in the future

There certainly are a few head-scratchers there. The four players depicted are wearing four different uniforms, and if that white orb is supposed to be the ball (sans stitches), then Ted was way early on it. There also don't appear to be any fielders.

Unless Ted has just hit the ball, then that could explain the swing. But if he did, and the pitcher and catcher are the only two fielders, it's going to be a long day for them

The pitcher looks like he is wearing a jumpsuit. Umpire and catcher wearing heeled boots. Shades of the Boog Powell SI cover.
