Hey there wondering what I'm sitting on. My family passed these pre war cards down and i recently inherited them.
Aside from Don Warneke being The Arkansas Hummingbird and playing for the cubs in the 1930-45 and Charles Klein being the Hoosier Hammer and playing for philli. what can you say about these cards. Where would i get these appraised? |

Those are 1933-34 Worch Cigars, issued out of Minneapolis. Maybe check ebay for comparable sales, I would grade those in about vg-ex condition, unless there are some tears I missed (I can't tell on bottom of Warneke)
PS. Klein can be found with Phillies or Cubs designation. FWIW, yours is likely from 1933.

Yes Worch cigar cards from 1933. The Lon (not Don) Warneke card is probably worth about $40 or so depending on condition. The Chuck Klein card is worth more, maybe $100 - $200. You can read a little about this set on the Old Cardboard website (see link on upper right of the Net54 homepage). Look under T cards.
Fun fact - Warneke became an MLB umpire after his playing days were over |

Yep, Worch Cigar cards. The Klein would grade a 1 due to the punctures and Warneke looks like a 3 or 4. I think they are both in the $75-100 range.
