Hi Guys,
Back into the hobby after a few years. Continuing to finish and replace cards in my 67' set. I recently bought 100 ultra-pro regular top-loaders on Ebay. I've been using these for years. About 50% of these were awful. Wavy, little dots in the material itself, along with little flakes inside the loaders that are near impossible to get out. Basically poor quality control in manufacturing. Did I get a bad lot or is this common? Never had this problem in years past. Does Ultra-pro sell bulk "seconds" to sellers on Ebay who then sell them? I'm completing my 67 set. Now finishing the 7th series, which are cards generally in near mint condition or better. They are not cheap. I keep them in penny sleeves in the top-loaders in the BCW white cardboard card boxes. Does anyone recommend I put the cardboard boxes in airtight bins? Or is this overkill? Thanks for input.
