Default Walter Johnson 1926 Washington schedule

$350 shipped. After back-to-back trips to the World Series the past two seasons, anticipation among Nats fans must have been running high in the spring of 1926. The Washington Post took advantage of that feeling by issuing this baseball schedule promoting the newspaper ("Dependable as the Big Train") and its contest to send fans and local sandlot teams to that year's series wherever it might take place. A photo of the pitching hero in action appears in the background. Measuring 6"x3", the front exhibits in very good condition with several minor creases visible only on very close inspection, while the back has suffered several examples of paper loss, perhaps the result of removal from a scrapbook.
