Unfortunately, COVID-19 craziness only stays in those modern cards otherwise they could be 6 figures cards if advertise "correctly"

Default hmmm....

your other post in the last five years talked about your concern about cards in bogus psa flips (mantle, jordan, brady). you asked if the board wanted to see the bogus flip jordan and brady psa 10s you were recently offered. not making any judgements, interpretations, etc...just recounting known facts.

rather than filling in all of the contextual information for these two cards which many will understandably find questionable in any situation, the best way to validate anything is submit it to a third party grader and if it's good enough for them it will be good enough for many on the board. there is a cottage industry of vintage fakes that if given unclear pictures, or not having the card in hand, look passably vintage (see etsy for many examples). people obviously want to believe but have been burned many times before, so would love to see these cards with an A or numerical grade if that time comes.

That is correct. I rarely use this page but in that instance I figured some members may have been interested in seeing what some people were attempting to pass off as authentic PSA cards. During that time many people were burned by cards in bogus holders which led PSA to develop the lighthouse flip and still some fakes persist. Around a year ago a friend was offered a fake Jerry Rice PSA 10 rookie in a brand new holder with current flip. So the problem is still out there. I’m not sure what that has to do with this post? I not once asked anyone to buy the cards pictured, was simply sharing what I thought was a pretty rare new find, in fact have 2 cards that have never even been graded by PSA, but maybe I bought those on Etsy. Of course they are headed to PSA for grading along with some others. And once they have a numerical grade, I am sure you will see them again.

Sounds good, good luck. I hope they do well. Definitely post pics when you get them back.

Same? Is there a link/story/article about this new find, whether here or elsewhere?
