Ridiculous - right!! How many panels out there graded a missing an inch or two of black dashes off by 1/2mm or less! The auction panels are absolutely ridiculous!! Cut closer to the photos than the black lines on the top edge!! Gross inconsistency.

Larry, for your viewing pleasure.
I'd have to say PSA is consistently inconsistent.

I see them flub these as well as the 59 Bazookas. It is very frustrating.

Those ‘64s are just bizarre to me. All of those panels are cut to allow for the dotted line and then ample space to show–except along the top, which isn’t even close to where the lines would be. Who takes the time to accurately cut three of the four sides and then practically butchers the other one? Repeatedly?
The panels are quite crisp and worthy of higher grades, IMO, except for the obvious poor cuts along the edge. So it seems like PSA marked down for the top edge instead of adhering to its own standards, which are usually harsh and almost absolute– AUTHENTIC if not all dashed liens are present. Here it seems they were well aware that the cards were not up to spec but intentionally ignored it. Unless of course some grader actually thinks that these were designed with no dashed line across the top, in which case the incompetence is off the charts.
