Missing baseball? Take a trip to Deadball Era Spring Training in Texas

I though I'd share with everyone an article I wrote for my hometown paper about the time a century ago when Ty Cobb and the Tigers trained a few blocks from where a live. Here is the link, and be sure to scroll through the photos in the article:

Here is a copy of the 1921 glass slide of Collins which I acquired which shows the courthouse spire in the background. Collins is standing on the field that is still used by the local high school baseball team.
