On this date the Dodgers defeated the Bucs 9-4. The Pirates knocked Don Drysdale out of the game after 3 innings in the losing effort. Maury Wills had a big day at the plate. He collected 4 hits including a double. He also scored 3 runs, drove in two more, and stole two bases. Roberto Clemente and Mazeroski each had a hit in the loss.

SOLD*****Asking $50 shipped for a 1927 Chicago Cubs Ticket Stub Sept 4th V.S. St Louis Cardinals. This game featured six members of the Hall of fame. The Cubs lost to the Gas House Gang on this date. For the Cardinals Frankie Frisch had one hit and drove in a run, Chick Hafey collected two hits and an RBI, Sunny Jim Bottomley went hitless. Hack Wilson had one hit for the Cubs. IAsking $35 for this 1928 Chicago Cubs vs NY Giants Ticket Stub July 20th at Wrigley Field. The Giants defeated the Cubs 4-3 on this date. The game featured 7 Hall of Famers. Freddie Lindstrom, Bill Terry and Mel Ott each had 2 hits. Terry hit a homer. Travis Jackson drove in a run. Kiki Cuyler had a hit and an RBI. SOLD*****I'm asking $35 shipped for this lot of 8 1971 World Series Champs Pirates ticket stubs Three Rivers Stadium. Opening Day 4/16/71 Dock Ellis threw a complete game to defeat the Phillies. Mazeroski and Stargell both had a hit. 8/11/71 Dock Ellis goes the distance again out dueling the 1971 Cy Young Award winner Fergie Jenkins 3-2. Hall of Famers Santo and Clemente had a hit, and Stagell had two. 8/13/71 the Bucs were shut out by the Cardunals 2-0. Ted Simmons had 3 hits for the Cards. 8/15/71 Cards win again 6-4 Simmons and Clemente each had a hit. Willie Stargell had three hits to including two homers. 9/3/71 saw the Expos beat the Bucs 6-4 despite Clemente's four hits. 9/18/71 Steve Blass shuts out the Mets 4-0. Mazeroski contributed a base hit and Clemente had two. 9/19/71 the Mets turned the tables and defeated the Pirates 5-2. Clemente had three hits in the losing effort.
