It seems they go for less than the regular version now. At least the key card (George Brett) in the set in a PSA 8 holder.
When I started collecting they were 2x the regular version. I'm aware of treasure trove of them entered the market because someone in Michigan had a bunch. But was it enough to tilt the market that much?

Neat set though. Topps toyed with doing it again in 1985 but never proceeded beyond the proof/prototype stage. They did put out several mini supplemental offerings in the 80s
