For the people who collect and/or have knowledge of E90-1 cards and/or similar cards, is there a size tolerance that can be explained by factors other than trimming? For example, the standard size of the E90-1 set is 1 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" tall. If a card measures 1 1/2" wide but is 1/32" shorter than 2 3/4," would you consider that a normal variance or is that a sign that an alteration may have taken place?
I would appreciate any guidance on this. Thanks, Eric

Don't obsess on size. Look for characteristics. there are definitely HUGE E90-1's and by logical extension there must be legit undersized ones as well.
Do two or three sides show normal wear while one or two other sides are razor sharp? Do you see the dreaded bat ears? Are one or more sides a slightly different color or look different under magnification? Find a card you are positive is good and examine it thoroughly, keep it handy as a reference when looking at other cards.

Eric, I'm currently working on this set and have about 100 E90-1s. Like a lot of other sets, there are definitely variances and they do not always mean the card is trimmed. Certainly within 1/32 is tolerable and cards with even larger margins than that are, too.
