WTB: 1953 or 1955 Topps Jackie Robinson

This request is for a good friend who collected cards with me when we were younger. He still loves them but isn't really active in the hobby, though he remains a baseball fan. He has been reading baseball books to his first son, who is 2, and his son LOVES the Jackie Robinson book they read. So, he thought it would be fun to get him his first baseball card and make it a Robinson. We settled on 1953 and 1955 Topps as the most appealing affordable options.

The transaction will be with me, so no worries on a hassle - I am just trying to help him out. I don't know much about 1950s cards so I thought I would post here before hunting around elsewhere.

The absolute max budget for this is $300 all in, and it would be terrific if it came in under that. Looking for good color, no scuffing or major creases, and decent to good centering.

I do not have an available Robinson for sale. The 1953 and 1955 Topps are obviously iconic cards, but if you are looking for a great yet affordable Jackie Robinson why not go with 1956? It has a classic image of Robinson sliding into home and it is more affordable than 1953 or 1955. For 1956 you can get a solid psa 5-6 for $300. 1955 you would be looking at a psa 4-4.5 and 1953 a psa 3. I am not trying to talk you out of the others (I really love 1955 Topps), but 1956 is a bit more affordable and would be a pretty incredible first card.
