Good morning (at least on the West Coast) Net 54 members! Anyone have an opinion about the authenticity of this 1968 Topps Nolan Ryan card? Let me know your thoughts please. Thanks in advance!!!

The signature and inscription look nice.
Is it a Milton Bradley card? The back color seems to say so.

No I think that the color on the back is different, but it is closer to the normal mustardy orange-yellow than the solid yellow of the Milton Bradley issue upon closer inspection.
The signature is definitely real...I was hoping for more of an opinion on the card |

Looks legit to me, is it slabbed? There are several usually floating around on eBay with that inscription or a similar version of it. Nice piece.

It is slabbed with the autograph graded.

![]() If it is slabbed “trading card” then I might be worried. But if it says “1968 Topps Ryan / Koosman” even without a grade on the card (auto only) then I think you are good. They wouldn’t encapsulate a reprint or a fake I don’t think without making it obvious. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

![]() I looked at your scans again; I still think you’re good. The card and especially the back look right to me. I’m not familiar with all of the different authentication service levels, but obviously the one that was used with this one was to grade only the autograph. It may be more valuable / desirable to get the card authenticated as well as the auto, but you’ll be going through resubmittal and likely a long wait to try to do that with PSA. I thought that as well as first. It's the lighting in the photo. And it is OC enough that the white stripe would be showing on the right border.
