Default T206 Set For Sale $35,000

Near complete T206 set for sale. I think I have like 510-ish out of the 520. All the big names, all the big cards (of the 520 set). The 10 or so cards that I need are all easy, readily available HOFers. All 4 Cobbs, Demmit and O'Hara, all the Mathewson's, all the Cy Young's, all 48/48 Southern Leaguers, and 2 100% guaranteed signed Larry Doyles (from the Great 2007 Pittsburgh Find) are in here. And most importantly they are all in a binder! All raw in plastic pages, most were broken out of slabs. While they all have good eye appeal, the conditions vary. They range from Authentic to Poor to VG/EX. I'm always up for a good trade, so a combination of cash and trade works as well. And although he was my favorite player, 89T Gregg Jefferies will not be welcomed as trade. Nor will any 89 Donruss, 89 Score, 89 Fleer, or 83T Wade Boggs. I live in Pittsburgh PA and any serious buyers are more than welcome to come see the set in person. I'll try to post some scans to give you a general idea of their shape, and will be more than happy to provide pics of me holding the cards (or whatever weird scenario you can think of haha)....

I, for one, would like to know which cards are awol. I see only one O’Hara, for example.
Thanks,
Mike

Wow. Wasn’t expecting this kind of response. I guess T206s are really hot now! I’ll get to all of the emails and offers right after I get back from the Pitt Duke game!

Good Luck with your sale.

Perhaps consider some more editing at the beginning of your description.

It's nice for the price, just not quite what is described.

Well almost complete. I think I have like 510-ish out of the 520.

I think most of us consider the set complete at 520. But fair enough. Here is who is missing:

Chance (Batting)
Chesbro
Johnson (Pitching)
Lajoie (Portrait)
Lajoie (Throwing)
Magie (error)
McGraw (Portrait, With Cap)
Plank
Speaker
Tinker (Bat off Shoulder)
Tinker (Bat on Shoulder)
Wagner (Pittsburg)
Young (Glove Shows)

If we really get close to the deal, I will triple check and get a super accurate number of whom is missing. But above should be the only ones not in there. None (of the 520) are terribly hard to acquire...

Would love to see large scans of the four Cobbs, Demmitt, O’Hara, Young & Johnson Portraits, and some of the rare cards, etc. Very interested in this set.

If anyone else would like a scan please email me at bmullen0014@aol.com. I tried to post pics here but I'm assuming that the scans/files are too large. I've been trying to post scans all day with no luck.

Have since added:

McGraw (Portrait, With Cap)
Speaker
Tinker (Bat off Shoulder)
Tinker (Bat on Shoulder)

Here is who is missing:

Chance (Batting)
Chesbro
Johnson (Pitching)
Lajoie (Portrait)
Lajoie (Throwing)
Magie (error)
Plank
Wagner (Pittsburg)
Young (Glove Shows)

Here's a great chance to acquire a 98% complete, slab free, well-loved, all in a binder T206 set. Have been super close on a couple of deals but no cigar yet. Make me an offer!

If you decide to break this up I am very interested in the Cobb Bats as well as any other "bat" cards I don't have.
