I was a huge fan of Mac Rebennack, better known to us as Dr. John. I have most of his early albums, and saw him live several times. His first album Gris-Gris is, IMO, a classic, and sounds unlike anything else I've ever heard.
Dr. John died last night at 77. Any other fans on the board? Last edited by barrysloate; 06-07-2019 at 04:42 AM. |
