Default 1949 leaf premiums

My Dad recently found some 5 x 7 prints of baseball players. He recalled he would get them from the drug store owner where he collected the 1948 leaf cards in the spring and summer of 1949. They were in the bottom of every box of the nickel pack all-star cards. After some research they are an actual set by themselves but pretty scarce and not very collectible I guess. I posted a picture for you to see! Just wanted to share with some fellow baseball fans! Thanks Kurt

I would agree with "scarce" and disagree with "not very collectible." These are super tough and lots of guys would love to add them to their collection. There are a lot of guys, even vintage guys who aren't aware of them, but if a complete set came to market I think it would do quite well.
