that's a stamp, not a signature

![]() Of course I know that. Fine call it a clubhouse stamp. Question was, has anyone else seen this on a Williams card? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by aronbenabe; 05-12-2019 at 07:27 PM. |

Why are you using the word clubhouse?

As a generic term when the player or celebrity is not available (or interested) in signing something himself. Said player has a stamp made up and designates someone to use it when requests come in. Just assume that’s what it there for.
Of course, same stamp can be used in office home or wherever. Don’t know how Ted used this. Just trying to find out how common it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There was a thread previously where if you made a donation to a foundation of a certain amount Ted would sign... If you didn't make the donation he would stamp it....

Clubhouse actually has a very specific meaning. I wasn't trolling you. I thought you had some information. Clubhouse means a ball signed by someone other than the player (often an equipment manager or the like) at the stadium. There are actually some famous clubhouse signers like Charlie "The Brow" DiGiovanna.
Just because someone doesn't have the information you want doesn't mean they weren't trying to be helpful!
