Pops - Slightly Off-Topic
Today, my Pa would have been 82 years young. (Leon - THAT makes him pre-War and fitting to this page, hopefully!) He has been gone a year...
I had NEVER seen this photo of him playing for his Church League before this week. Like most of us, he was just a "pretty good" local ballplayer. He lived vicariously through The Mick & Yogi. But he had more important things to do like raise us 4 kids. Like I said, he was was a pretty good ballplayer, but he was a GREAT Dad! Anyone else got any pix of their Pa from his "playing days"? You looked at mine, I will look at yours!
