I recently received a letter signed by Pirates HOF'er Fred Clarke that has a tiny amount of clear adhesive of some sort on the back. Can someone recommend a adhesive remover that is archivally safe to use on this type of item? My biggest concern is not bleaching or discoloring the paper at all.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

You can try contacting Archival Methods at https://www.archivalmethods.com/. I believe they still operate their help desk and there is a regular blog on all things archival.
