When discussing T9s, there are clearly two categories at the lower end of the condition scale, the "Beaters" and the "Beaten". I'll let you decide which applies to Mr. Driscoll and Mr. Murphy
Jem Driscoll seems to qualify in both categories, the card is a beater and has taken a beating. As a knockout victim, he was apparently glued to the canvas. Most of the words on his back are readable though and all seem to be spelled correctly. His left lower corner shows a bit of paper loss hardly noticeable when compared to the other corners. There is creasing in the left lower corner which crosses not only the border, but also traverses the image itself. There is also a touch of paper loss on his right thigh and what appears to be a Nike logo tattoo on his left thigh. This card has been soaked which lessened considerably the contrasting glue hues and the scan at the bottom is more representative of the current condition of the card. Otherwise the card is fine. Tommy Murphy on the other hand introduces some other issues. Minor gnawing of the right upper corner can not be overlooked. The reverse is vastly superior to Mr. Driscoll. Mr. Murphy came to me with a most unusual variation in that the glove on his right hand was lavender. I considered this a distraction and embarked on an effort to restore brown leather gloves to both hands. In fact the gloves even seem to glow. Mission accomplished. If you long for affordable T9s, you have come to the right place. Calling these cards set fillers may be a stretch. Let's start these unique collectables at $26 a piece with free shipping, or $48 for the pair. When the bell rings, this battle will begin. Note: If you buy both, you will not have to worry about what you cannot read on the reverse. Just look at the Murphy reverse.

Any offer above or below the asking prices will be considered.
I don't know where you can get cheaper turkeys. Perhaps this thread should be titled "The Dukes of Hazard" ![]()
