Lefty Gomez Identification Help
I recently purchased a 1930's Original St Paul Saints Team Photo from the St. Paul Daily News, in which I was hoping I could get some opinions on if Gomez is featured in this team photo or not. On the back of the photo in pencil is handwritten 1930. HOFer Lefty Gomez pitched in 17 games that season for the Saints, beginning in late July or early August. The Yankees sold his contract to the Saints for the remainder of the season sometime after July 26.
If I had to guess, potentially the player pictured in the Top Row sixth in starting from the Left to Right. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you!
