Ugh. I met Pee Wee in person many years ago at a charity golf outing (along with Johnny Bench) I had him sign a reprint of the 53 Bowman. I’m still kicking myself for not ponying up a couple extra bucks to have bought the real thing. By the way He was such a gentle and good natured spirit - he went wayyy above my expectations to sign a stack of about 8 items all for free, all with a smile, while recounting his baseball experiences. Bench on the other hand was not nearly as personable - although I did appreciate that he signed a ball for me.
