Default Mantle and DiMaggio signed balls

Any informed / expert collectors have an opinion if either these are authentic? I have gotten conflicting opinions.

My next move I guess is to pay for authentication but don’t want to waste the high fees if they are obviously fake for any reason.

Both fake. Move on. Mantle is slowly drawn and has multiple start stop pressure points.
