I think this may be my first time posting here? I have this ball that I think is authenticate? and I have tried my Darndest to figure out the names? I have numbered in the order of the panel that they are on. There are two names #19 & 21 that I cannot figure out? Help
![]() Typical questions I am sure: 1. is this authentic? 2. value? 3. Are my ids correct 4. what are the two missing ids 5. anything special about this ball

Appears to be Nolan Ryan above Ed Charles. The others are too faint to see.

I'm guessing the one between Ed Charles and Gary Gentry, is Joe Pignatano.

Negatives
No Hodges (unless that isn't his usual stamp) Not ONL ball Different ink used Several faded including Ryan Ball a bit soiled and toning Positives It's a freaking 69 Mets ball signed in 69 I would say likely value in the $200-300 ballpark. Last edited by btcarfagno; 11-08-2018 at 05:42 PM. |

Thank you all for your responses.
I am 99% sure it is Joe Pignatano. Thank you! Tom, are you saying that it is not Gil Hodges autograph on the ball? |

90% of all 1969 Mets balls have a stamped Hodges. I will take a look at some of them let you know what I think. A real Hodges gives the ball a decent boost.

Maybe # 21 is JC Martin?

Found the answer I think. Facsimile that was part of the ball. See link.
