Hello,
I am a collector from Chicago and will miss the Philly show. Philly is the birthplace of the vintage 40's and 50's Bowman sets. If anyone is going to the show and willing to hunt for a card or two for me (I'm open to a finder's fee) for my 1949 Bowman set or other sets, please contact me via email or direct message, or cell 630.277.0356. I spoke with a couple of folks who went to the show. They said the original venue was not useable due to a water damage and they moved it to a location where only 50+ dealers could set up.

I know it's hard to care about anyone else's troubles, but Joe Drelich got a huge shit sandwich and made the best out of it. Can you imagine if, as the promoter, you lost the venue to one of the largest shows in the country on 4 weeks notice? It's a miracle there was a show at all, and that he managed to squeeze in the dealers he did. I;m one of the dealers who got bumped, but I went down anyway and, yes things were tight, but he had a lot of the best dealers there in addition to the PSA, SGC, and Beckett. Was it ideal? No. Was it a minor miracle in it's own right that still had plenty of pre war stuff I enjoy? Yup.

I was at the show. It was much smaller than normal due to the change in locations, but still happy I went. I was able to make submissions to TPGs, consign some material to auction, and even find a couple of nice cards....including a C-46 from T-Rex and a more-than-decent T206 Doc Adkins.
Highlight was definitely being able to chat with several familiar faces. At the top of the list was Ted, thanks for your time Ted! Those vintage card conversations made the trip worth it for me! |

It was a very small show. You could see everything in 15 minutes.
I spent more time driving to and from than in it. |

Hey guys,
There were 70 - 80 dealers set up at this show. And a good majority of them had great quality vintage stuff. Joe Drelich has to be commended for putting this show together in the short period he had to deal with due to the flood damage to the Casino showroom. Also noticed that there were less than the usual number of Auction Houses set-up. Possibly in order to squeeze in as many dealers as possible in this small showroom. The show was very crowded with customers on Friday and Saturday. Most of the dealers I talked with were quite pleased with the show. I was very happy with the sales and trades I had. Plus, very happy talking with a good number of Net54 members that came to my booth. That experience is always the "icing on the cake" ![]() TED Z T206 Reference . |

I went to the show both Saturday and Sunday and thought it was a good show. The few dealers I typically buy from all said they were having a good show and indicated the turnout on Friday was good as well. It was pretty empty on Sunday though.

You should come to the Dallas area and you would be quite thankful for a 50-70 dealer show. It sounds like most still did fine under less than ideal circumstances.
