Yes, Its from the lesser Academy (Go Army!) in order to mail their season tickets.

Great item! Looks to be from 1937.
On a side note...my grandfather, a WWI vet, was a pipefitter who helped build that boat (the U.S.S Brooklyn) in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

I thought they were for mailing tickets. I don't recall seeing one that wasn't registered. This one was mailed Nov 15, and got to Brooklyn the next day. (Registered get the dates on the back. )
