SOLD 1959 Topps Venezuela Mickey Mantle PSA 2 - price lowered

One of the most difficult of all of Mickeys cards to find with a current total pop graded by PSA of 22. The highest grade ever given to a 59VZ Mantle is a PSA 4. This was the first year that Topps issued the Venezuelan set.

Bump, a similar listing of a 59VZ in PSA 2 is listed for over $8k on eBay (not that he will get that price). A PSA 2.5 in Huggins & Scott sold for $5900 last July.

Rounded corners on my PSA 2, but no creasing which is quite difficult to find on the VZ's.

Obviously the print is not very dark on the back, this was a problem with the printing technique used as all of the 59 cards were printed in Venezuela and there were also problems with Mickeys card in particular where it partly stuck to the press often causing paper loss (see slight paper loss in upper left corner when looking at this photo) hence none ever graded higher than a PSA 4 or an SGC 3.5.
