Also had the chance to buy these. I had no idea what they were. Guy told me that Babe Ruth had a deal with an ice cream shop and sold 6 cards and when someone got all 6 cards they got a free cone.

Not sure what you paid for it but the Ruth card is a Fro-Joy reprint. Many ungraded ones are and all of the colored ones such as yours are not originals.
They are one of the most common fakes/reprints out there and PSA/SGC do not even grade them anymore.

I did not buy either of these. I needed more info on it before I made an offer.

Good to know - definitely stay away from that one.
The Cobb is a Sweet Caporal pin. Hard to tell from your pic if that's legit or not but they range in value depending on the condition, including if the paper on the back is intact. In low-grade condition they start around $100 - very high-grade can be over $500 if it's graded.

As said, the Ruth card is a reprint (all color versions are reprint), but the Cobb pin offhand looks legit. If the pin is rusty, back has some corrosion and the back paper label is tone then it's legit.

Weird the Jersey was $2,000 that is about what they sold for on heritage auction. I did buy several autographed photos and a bat. |

Yeah, that pin is way overpriced. You can even get NM graded ones for well under $1,000. There's even a PSA 7 right now for $500 on eBay.
