The Honus Wagner of watches sold today.
Anyone here collect vintage watches? I would love to if I had a little more in the bank. Vintage watches are crazy hot right now and would be a fun hobby.
The "Honus Wagner" of watches sold today for $17.8 million. Apparently in the early 90s you could get a Paul Newman Daytona model for only around $300...now these models go for a ton and will rise as a result of this sale.

My daily watch for the last 26 yrs. I bought it when it was around 8 yrs old. It is still worth a little more than I paid for it. To me, that is practical. This pic is taken from the interweb, mine isn't quite as clean (needs to be cleaned) but looks the same.
