T206 Piedmont 50 variation: Keeler with Bat
  Anyone seen this variation before? Wee Willie Keeler with Bat, Piedmont 50 Factory 25? Are there any others with this variation? A guy posted it on a PSA Facebook group and I figured this would be the place to ask.

Like I said on facebook
It looks like paper loss to me. Could be an erasure I do not believe it to be any kind of variation and was certainly not intentionally printed with a 50.

According to the owner, it's been slabbed for many years (starting with 9* are old) and there is no paper loss. He has requested to join the board.

So it's been discussed before. Looks like the card in the original post was a scanning issue, and the Magie could be paper loss but the variation wasn't noted in the auction description.

Maybe some glue on the front, leached the color from the back. As good a theory as I've heard on color loss
