Default 1933 Yankees Team Photo Owned by Pete Appleton/Jablonowski (SOLD)

$725 net to me. SOLD

Photo is in terrific condition and features a very tan Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and the rest of the team. There is another version of this photo snapped a moment earlier/later where Gehrig is looking away from the camera. Photo has a nice blank back.

Measures: ~4.75" x ~2.25"

I purchased this from someone who got it in a large box of Pete Appleton's things. This, and a small baseball charm that says HAAF 44 Champs, were all that he had left. I think HAAF stands for Hunter Army Airfield, which is in Savanna Georgia. Appleton enlisted during WWII, so this may have been from a military baseball tournament. I like keeping things together, so both are included in this lot. I was unable to obtain any additional provenance and have not done any further research on the charm.
