FS/FT: 1956 Topps Ted Williams Blue Line Variation. I recently picked this up, but then purchased another one I liked better. I'm asking exactly what I paid, so please don't PM me and ask if I'm willing to go lower. Not looking to make a profit, but not looking to lose money either. $190 delivered.

Will consider trades for HOFers of the same value or T206 rarer backs in VG to VG/EX condition.

To be nice to my fellow board members, many times I list a card too cheap (like this one) and I think the problem is that people believe its too good to be true.

So it doesn't sell and then I either list it on eBay and it sells for what it should normally go for, or I just bump the price here to get it more in line with what it's actually worth.

Example:
Could have bought this Mantle for $22 delivered...

I understand the phenomenon of cards selling for more in an auction style format while the same card could have been had for less at a fixed price...it happens on ebay and in auctions all the time. I guess its just hard to understand how someone could seriously justify increasing their asking price in a B/S/T thread when the card didn't sell at their original asking price. Maybe I'll just wait a week for you to bump it to $210, that way I won't feel like your pulling a fast one on me

It happens every day in life and not just for cards.

Click on the first link. I originally offered it for $22. When I bumped it to $24, then I had a fish on the hook. Unfortunately, I didn't hear back from him and that's when I listed it in the live auction. The strategy obviously works. I can give you many examples of this in every day life with many other products.
