Closed: 1970 Topps Top-Tier Big Gun HOF / Team Cards w/Hi#s - ENDS 2NITE 6/29
Continuing on with the liquidation of my 1970 Topps.
This was the penultimate set I ripped. By that time I mostly saw who I got, hardly thumbed and socked them away. Certainly one of Topps' most bland designs, but cards are very clean on front. Backs still have that great deep blue and orange. As usual with ripping and no cherry picking, the cards are prone to the issues that plagued that year: basically centering and sometimes image tilt. As far as I could tell among these two lots, all cards in these two lots have all borders (two team cards border on MC) Lot 1) Aaron, Clemente, Mays, Seaver. Lot 2) Team cards 22/24 (missing only Oakland and Washington). High #s are Indians (637), Padres (657), Giants (696). Pilots (713). Lot includes card #1, Mets (No rubberbanding) *Other cards not shown. Due to the quick nature of this auction, each lot starts at $35 and continues in whole dollar increments of $3 or more.
