Closed: 1970 Topps: HOFers, Hi Nums, All Stars- Ends Wed 6/28
This was the penultimate set I ripped. By that time I mostly saw who I got, hardly thumbed and socked them away. Certainly one of Topps' most bland designs, but cards are very clean on front. Backs still have that great deep blue and orange. As usual with ripping and no cherry picking, the cards are prone to the issues that plagued that year: basically centering and sometimes image tilt. As far as I could tell among these two lots, all cards in these two lots have all borders, even if a few just a sliver, except the McCovey (MC) All Star.
Lot 1) Hi #s 7th Series HOFers: #712 Ryan, #660 Bench, #630 Banks, #700 F. Robinson, #670 Santo. Lot 2) Sporting News All Stars - 18 cards, not all shown: Aaron, Rose, Jackson, B. Robinson, Bench, F. Robinson, Yaz, McCovey (MC), Carew, Marichal, Boog, Koosman, McDowell, Freehan, M. Alou, Petrocelli, Kessinger, Milan. Please bid by lot number. Each lot starts at $30 and continues in any whole-dollar increment. Each lot ends Wed 6/28 with the highest bid BEFORE 10:30pm EST. Tracked shipping is $3.00, per lot or combined. US only.
