What are some of your finds in places other than those where you would expect to find sports memorabilia ?
I found these cards in a local bookshop. The owner mainly sells old books, magazines and newspapers, but had a random folder of old cigarette cards. I found the Jackson, and about 2 years later in the same shop, the Fitzsimmons. There are only a handful of Jacksons around and I have only ever seen one other Fitzsimmons in around 15 years. ![]() ![]() An auction house isn't usually an odd place to find sports memorabilia, but finding 19th century baseball cards in Australia is pretty rare. I picked these up a few months back - they have since been graded PSA 2, 1 and 2.5. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by boxingcarddigest; 03-04-2017 at 11:50 PM. |
