I just read a very interesting online ESPN article on Chiefs return specialist Tyreek Hill.
I recommend everyone read it. One line that will stick with me as a very heavy truth is: In the NFL, talent is currency; it buys tolerance and, in some cases, immunity. - leading to part of another, more familiar quote, the entirety and original source of which I cannot recall: '...at what price glory?' http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...fs-tyreek-hill\ .

Dunno about the quote but it's a James Cagney movie.

Oddly enough, the thing that caught my attention was the quote from Mike Gundy.....
"We try to stress as much as we can to these guys, there's just certain things right now that society frowns upon," he told reporters. What in the holy hell?? Society frowns upon? Right now? Um...how about "these kinds of actions are WRONG"? With that said, I went back and read the original article and quote. Gundy did the right thing and that, ultimately is the most important part of his responsibility. At a minimum, he colossally flubbed that statement. If it truly represents how he is (was) leading his players; then he is doing them, society, his program and himself no favors. Im hoping its just the former.
