1911 Philadelphia Athletics World's Champions Souvenir Plate - SOLD
Available is a 1911 Philadelphia Athletics World's Champions Souvenir Plate. 10" plate features Hall of Famers Eddie Plank, Eddie Collins, Chief Bender, and Frank Baker as well as manager Connie Mack.
In excellent condition with some crazing, but the gold leaf around the rim is still in pretty good shape over all. Some marks scattered throughout.   -SOLD-

Wow. That's one of the more unique A' items I've seen. Any idea if it was made in 1911/12?.....not sure if they had those printing capabilities back then.

Found this on another site:
"Cook Pottery Company – Charles H. Cook purchased the Ott & Brewer Pottery in 1894. It also conducted pottery operations at the site of the Dale & Davis plant on Prospect Street. For a time, it produced Belleek products using Ott & Brewer molds. One of its best known pieces was a Spanish American pitcher honoring Admiral Dewey. The Cook company closed during the Great Depression." Appears to have closed circa 1930.
