The APBA Table Top Baseball Game was first produced in 1951. The early years had limited production runs that increased through the 1950s. Finding any original set in decent condition is a rarity. I have several sets from the 50s, but two complete sets for the 1957 season. They are comparable in condition and I am selling only one at this time.
The set is complete, with 16 teams and 20 player cards per team. All the cards have been stored in the original envelopes and each card in an individual penny sleeve. As a result there is very little toning from light exposure or color bleed from the envelope itself. They have received minimal use for game playing with the Milwaukee Braves showing the most evidence of game play. The cards however are unmarked (with one exception mentioned below) and no tears are present. A prior owner carefully typed 1957 in blue ink on the reverse of each card between MAJOR and LEAGUE in the baseball on the card backs. I will include a copy of the original roster sheet, which is faint but completely legible. The original roster sheets from this era suffer greatly from age. I need a new cartridge in my printer and hope to make individual team roster sheets on heavier card stock that can be keep in the team envelopes. To get an idea of the card condition I decided to pull the starting lineups for the 1957 All-Star Game. That year fan voting was introduced and the Cincinnati team promoted the voting process better than others. As a result 5 Redlegs were in the starting lineup. There is also one error card in the set. Bubba Phillips of the White sox has an S printed in the space where his fielding rating should be. The prior owner lightly penciled the correct 3 under the S. That is the only extraneous mark I found in reviewing the set. I believe the envelopes are original and in very good condition, as they typically took a beating from game players. Three of the envelopes have tears along the right margin as shown. Kansas City has two tears. Baltimore and Boston have one each. The other 13 envelopes are intact. The envelopes are the longer ones used with the early sets and the printing looks original to me. The flaps on the tops of the envelopes are all intact and not torn, which is truly remarkable, Included is a copy of the original ros You will not find a comparable set in APBA past sales currently on eBay. I am asking $800.00 for the set and will offer free shipping. Willing to discuss payment options. Item will be shipped upon receipt of payment regardless of the method. There is a pending sale on eBay currently. I am happy to answer all questions regarding this rare item of baseball gaming history that is 60 years old this year. Thanks for looking.

I have moved this listing to Ebay at the same price. Will give a Net54 member the benefit of a price reduction based on anticipated eBay final value fees, if purchased through BST.
