This Year's Sign That There Are Way Too Many Bowl Games:
Of the 128 Division I Football teams, 14 lost 7 games this year...
and 5 of those teams will be participating in one of the 41-bowl games. So 82 of the 128 teams who even field a team, get a bowl birth... Is their inspiration from the NHL?, no... It's from the bottom line.... They will keep broadcasting the 'Roto-Rooter Bowl' from Bug Tussle, Wyoming as long as we keep watching. bbs
