Hey, good luck to you, Jim. I completed the set about 25 years ago, when it was still halfway reasonable. A few years back, I had doubles, but ebayed them off, I'm afraid. Once you get complete, I have some passable reprints of the big three I can send you gratis, if you are interested.

Steve,
I wouldn't mind the 3 reprints, if it's no trouble for ya. That would be great!!! I'll post when I'm nearing completion. Too bad you didn't have any doubles to sell for my set. I do have the 51 Connie Mack All Star set complete, so that's why I'm starting the Major League All Stars.

No problem, Jim. I loved both of those '51 Topps sets going way back to when I originally collected them as a seven-year-old. Of course, I had no way of knowing that the missing three MLAS cards would never be found, no matter how much hard as rock caramel candy I abused my teeth with. So, fifty years later, I decided to reprint them myself. I have sent some to other Net54 members who collected the set and like me, realized it would never be completed. When you get a chance, send me a PM with your mailing address and I will send the reprints to you. If you want protected shipping, I can give you my paypal UID to arrange for the shipping cost. As I mentioned, I had doubles of all eight cards about twenty years back, but as market prices on them jumped in the last decade, I decided to unload them. I imagine the set, despite being not particularly popular among today's collectors, will continue to rise in value due to its relative scarcity.
